Marantz Grand Horizon N1LG

Marantz Grand Horizon is a flagship luxury wireless speaker designed as an aesthetic statement piece that delivers room-filling, high-fidelity sound for large living spaces. Key Features & Design • Circular Design: Inspired by the classic Marantz porthole motif, it features a distinctive silhouette wrapped in custom-engineered Marantz Radiance 360° Seamless EcoFiber fabric (made from recycled ocean plastic). • Base & Build: It sits on a genuine, solid natural marble plinth (which dampens vibration) and weighs nearly 50 lbs (roughly 19 inches in diameter and under 2 feet tall). The marble base is removable if you choose to wall-mount the unit. • Finishes: Available in three color options: Midnight Sky, Moon Ray, and Marantz Champagne. • Control: Features AuraControl, a touch-sensitive LED rim with a proximity sensor that lights up when you approach, alongside primary control through the HEOS app (lacking a physical handheld remote). Audio Engineering & Specs • Driver Array: An eight-driver system comprising a single 8-inch Marantz Gravity low-frequency woofer (with neodymium magnets), four 3-inch wideband drivers, and three 1-inch high-frequency tweeters. • Amplification: Powered by Marantz's own GaN FET Marantz Rise amplifier, delivering 370 watts of total power. • Acoustics & DSP: Uses bespoke Marantz Mirage DSP processing to widen the soundstage and center vocals, plus custom placement modes (Corner vs. Free-Standing) and warm/clarity spatial controls in the HEOS app. • Performance Specs: Frequency response spans from 28 Hz to 20 kHz (with bass extension down to 18 Hz at -10 dB) and a maximum output of 111 dB. Connectivity & Streaming • Wireless: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4 (with a 98.4-foot range), Apple AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, and Tidal Connect, with built-in access to services like Tidal, Qobuz, Pandora, and Amazon Music via the HEOS platform. • Wired Inputs: HDMI eARC (with Dolby Atmos support for TV integration), optical (Tosslink), stereo RCA analog, USB-C (for playing local files from a FAT32/NTFS drive), and Ethernet. • Multi-room: Supports multi-room audio syncing across HEOS-compatible devices.
